Hi, I'm Rose! I'm an animator and illustrator based in Adelaide, South Australia. Having originally graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Arts: History and German Studies in 2020, I spent less than a year out of university before realising that I really couldn't see myself as doing anything other than making art. I returned to uni, attending the University of South Australia to undergo a Bachelor of Design: Illustration and Animation, graduating in 2025 and being awarded with the Dux of Program and the University of South Australia Medal.I enjoy all aspects of the animation process, though I have a particular fondness for background design, character animation, and 2D effects animation. I have a strong passion for storytelling, and I pull my research skills into my artistic practice, building vibrant worlds and environments for characters to interact with.Previously, I've worked with the State Opera of South Australia, Thorne Harbour Health, MOD. Museum, and Squish Squash Illustration and Animation Collective.I am a very fast learner when it comes to picking up software and new skills, but I am most proficient in the use of ToonBoom Harmony, Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, and Premiere Pro.
